Seulki Lee is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration and the Graduate School of Governance at Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) in Seoul, South Korea. Before joining SKKU, she served as an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Sciences at Singapore Management University (SMU). She earned her Ph.D. in Public Administration from New York University.
Her research focuses on accountability challenges in collaborative governance, citizen participation in policy-making and implementation, and representation issues in public management. Her work aims to enhance the collaborative and participatory aspects of democratic governance.
Seulki has received prestigious awards, including the Beryl Radin Award for Best Article in the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, the Outstanding Reviewer Award from the same journal, and the Dissertation Award from the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA).
Her research has been published in journals, including the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Public Administration Review, Public Management Review, and the American Review of Public Administration, among others.
She is currently serving as Editor of Local Government Studies and Associate Editor of the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory.
